Intention would be to insert tulip or daffodil bulbs inside of a cage and to close the top of the cone with the goal of keeping squirrels from eating the bulbs. The sides should allow for root growth through the wire and the top should enable the sprouting of the bulbs and growth through the top. There should be multiple holes in the top with each hole being approx. � to � of an inch in diameter. The total length of the cone should be approx 5 inches.

 

The cone can be made in 1 (sides with top attached) or 2 (cone sides as one piece and top as a separate piece) pieces but if made in separate pieces, the top must be easily affixed to the cone.

 

The side piece of the cone should be collapsible and lay flat for shipping but must be easily contoured back into its original shape for use.
