Bridal Wear Purchase For Wedding Magazine And Future Bridal Shop
Post Date: Mon Mar 24 00:00:00 PDT 2008 Expiry date: Mon Mar 23 00:00:00 PDT 2009 From: [PH] Detailed Buying Lead DescriptionGood Day!
My name is Maite C. Matute and I am the FashionDirector for an up and coming bridal magazine coming out in June in thePhilippines called WeddingBelles.
With this, I am interestedin purchasing some samples of your gowns (wedding dresses, bridesmaiddresses, maid-of-honor, and flower girl dresses) to use for oureditorial shoots. It is a different take versus getting it RTW here orwaiting for a local designer to design an entourage. Our thought was toapproach the manufacturers in Asia that way we can also control thestyles featured in the magazine plus inspire the consumers withinternational designs.
The other thing is, sometime in thenear future, we are setting up a bridal shop using the magazine as ourmedia vehicle. The idea here is to get a maximum of 15 staple designs, have the consumers come in, fit, choose a colour etc then send thespecs of the gown, entourage dresses to you to make.
Pleasenote that we are not asking for a big order, we will do minimal and atmaximum around 15 at a time. To make things more simple, we have acourier TNT corporate account which will help in the delivery. TNT canpick up the dresses from your office and take it to ours within a week.
Is this something that we could discuss further? Our maidenissue is coming out in June and I would like to hopefully have some ofthe dresses before then.
A couple of questions:
1. What is your minimum order?
2. Could we do delivery service through TNT?
3. How long does it to make 1 dress?
4. Are all colours and sizes available?
5. Most importantly, does this interest you?
Alot of bridal magazines are a bit boring, our idea here is to not onlyprepare for the day itself but to prepare for the change of lifestyle. Our target market is AB and I do believe that we will be one of thebest bridal magazines in the Philippines and hopefull one day expandonto Asia. To feature your dresses in the magazine is definitely adifferent take on doing bridal wear here. Most consumers getinternational designs such as Ines Disanto, Monique Lhullier to name afew and get a top-notch designer to make it. We want to do exactly thesame but at a more affordable way. After all, the wedding industry isexpensive as is and having this avenue will make the whole wedding moreaffordable.
I look forward to seeing more of your designswhich I have seen on your website on the Flickr page. I have alreadywritten down the stock numbers of the dresses I would like to feature.
Looking forward to your prompt reply and successful business relationship!
All the best,
