Capacitive Touch Screen LCD

Right now, I'm calling the project The Copenhagen Project. The idea of it is this, an 11" or 12" Capacitive touch screen in a tiny, thin, discrete package. Think minimalistic.

Here is the twist, the system would be under $500 but a full computer. Based off of the VIA Nano, running 1GB or 2GB of RAM, with an Intel or Samsung MLC SSD, used for their cheap price. Instead of just running Linux, the system would be Windows based.

One key difference, would be that there is no keyboard, just a thin, portable screen, with a computer inside. A docking station would be available, that gives you a full array of ports and a keyboard, making it look like a normal laptop. However, it would be fully functional without the docking station, acting just as a tablet.

As I previously mentioned, I have very little funding. At this point in time, I would be looking for a vendor that would be able to provide me a sample unit of a 12.2" (or something in that range) Capacitive touch LCD for cheap or free, that I could then use to build a prototype, which would be used to acquire funding for the project.

I would be very greatful for any assistance that could be given to my project.

Thank you
