Technical Specifications for Ground Penetrating Radar(GPR) The Purpose: A ground penetrating radar for detecting metallic and non-metallic objects, employing up-to- date technologies and it must operate in different soil conditions, and able to following specifications: 1- Detecting depth: Up to(3)meters 2- Detecting capability of metallic and non metallic objects 3- Resolution: It must be operating with a mush higher degree of resolution(5 cm or better) 4- Clarifying display method used to view the results in real time(PCcolor display) 5- Operating capability in different soil conditions(clay, volcanic) 6- Bidder should clarify possibility of mounting sets probe on railroad as well hand-portable use. 7- Survey width range: Not less than(2m) 8- Bidder should clarify the effecting of the GPR by operating nearness to high tension towers. 9- Clarifying possibility to 3-dimensional color display real time and off line processing. 10-Type of used software and updating possibility. 11- clarifying possibility of data store into(PC)connected to GPR. 12- High data storage. 13- DC power supply type used, batteries capacity and charge method. 14- Weight and dimensions: To be specified by the Bidder. 15- Bidder should present technical and operational document including principle of operation and some Tests results and technical description. 16- Type of scan operation(fast scan, slow scan) 17- operating possibility upon different of soil surfaces(rugged, flat, intermediate) 18-The bidder shall provide a recommended list of spare parts sufficient for maintenance and repair of the GPR for(10) years at least including the product code of manufacturing company. 19- The bidder shall offer training for several engineers and technicians for operation and repair in the Company factory.
